“What Google hath wrought…”
Whew – this one interview could be considered controversial… but it is rooted in what we have seen in behavior and we think it’s important we have an informed discussion. It also builds on our early warning blog last year here. Feedback’s Dean Browell gets to sit down with Chris Boyer for the touch point media podcast and chat about two parallel trends: consumer behavior and industry moves that bring up some REAL questions about the place of reviews, reputation, and more. The importance and influence of reviews have been declining in favor of the influence of conversations for longer than we (and our time and treasure) want to admit.
Check out the whole podcast here (Apple, Google) where Reed and Chris discuss several articles and then interview Dean.
Big thanks to Chris and Reed Smith, MBA for having Dean on again and being on the forefront of conversations that are hard to have in the #healthcare provider industry (and beyond, really).
If you have questions, please reach out! We need to have very candid, informed discussions. Thankfully, #digitalethnography and our great research teams at Feedback help us see these things coming – both broadly and of course for our clients.
